Today on his third death anniversary, we miss Ka Jovy Salonga — a great statesman, valiant defender of democracy, incorruptible leader. He had the generosity of spirit, untouched by lust for wealth and power, and ready to sacrifice for the national interest — qualities we need so badly these days from our leaders.
