Over 500 committed non-politicians join Partido Liberal

Ifugao Rep. Teddy Baguilat, head of Partido Liberal’s national organizing and membership committee, said over 500 new party members took their oath Friday night in the three cities of Manila, Cebu, and Naga.

“These are all card-bearing, committed, non-politician Liberals,” said Baguilat, who led the oath-taking in Naga.

“Many of them applied through the party’s newly launched online recruitment platform. They are a mix of professionals, from various sectoral groups, millennials, seniors, etc. who are fed up with this administration’s abuse of power, and who are looking for a space to come together and resist,” he added.

The party leader from Northern Luzon invites Filipinos anywhere in the world who want to join the party to visit partidoliberal.ph and follow the set of instructions in applying to become a member.

He said the party is scheduling more simultaneous oath-takings nationwide for new recruits.
