At the end of the first regular session of the 17th Congress, the 31 Liberal Party lawmakers from both Houses have proposed 474 measures that span political, social, and economic reforms, including at least two that await President Duterte’s signature.
Sen. Bam Aquino led the four Liberal Party senators for the most number of bills filed at 111, followed by Sen. Leila De Lima at 34, LP president Sen. Francis Pangilinan at 20, and Sen. Franklin Drilon at 18.
The Senate passed the bills on providing free education in state universities and colleges and free wi-fi in public places, proposed measures common to the LP senators.
At the House of Representatives, Rep. Vilma Santos-Recto (Batangas, 6th District) has the most number of bills filed at 31, followed by Rep. Miro Quimbo (Marikina, 2nd District), and Rep. Jose Christopher Belmonte (Quezon City, 6th District).

As a bloc, they:
− Issued a statement supporting VP Robredo and vowing to block impeachment attempts against her. The same statement said the LP majority will not also support the Duterte impeachment.
